Hello hello! So happy to have you here. Well for starters, my name is Alana and I am a 23 (almost 24) year old California native. I was born and raised in the Coachella Valley here in Cali, before I decided to take the big girl plunge at 18 to move to San Diego for college! I’ve since been living in San Diego since 2014 and have graduated from undergraduate and graduate schools, gotten married, adopted 2 dogs, and began my journey to find a teaching position. Since we’re friends now, I’ll let y’all in on a little fun fact about me. I actually married my husband after only knowing him for 4 MONTHS.. Yep you read that write, 4 whole months. Now, had we had it our way, we would’ve gotten married a lot sooner, but decided that we should “hold on” and wait it out ( as if we truly waited long) until we were sure of when our family could come attend. Lo and behold I was married at 22 having just finished my bachelors degree and starting life as a recent grad, dog mom and now WIFE!
Now let’s move to the real deal here. My love for fashion or shopping above all has been prevalent since I was young. Now i’m not here to say my fashion choices were great.. but I can promise you that I was interested in the world of fashion. I always assumed that I would just go throughout my life as a teacher and share my love of fashion through my daily outfits, maybe sharing an OOTD (outfit of the day) or a little shoe-selfie here and there but never did I consider starting a blog. UNTIL the turn of the new century. Man, January 2020 had me feeling some type of way. Fearless and driven were the two major feelings which brought me here!
